My husband just joined the army as an 88N, just wondering what to expect?

he wont deploy any more than other MOS's. If he hasnt chose a duty station yet and he has already contracted in then he will go to the needs of the Army and have no say in where that is. As far as stationed overseas, he could go to 1 of 3 places Germany, Italy or Korea. Now if he gets German or Italy (ha that 1 highly unlikely) you and your family go with. However Korea is considered a hardship tour which means dependants arent authorized to go. There is one way around that and it would be to pay your own rent or mortgage without being paid BAsic allowance for Quarters (bad idea). And so sorry dear but yes if he goes to damn near any duty station there is a high chance he will deploy. Good luck, Army Strong!
